Global Product Line Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the global product line strategy and roadmap for copper-based enterprise connectivity solutions, including supporting fiber applications.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to commercialization and eventual discontinuation.

• Define and implement the New Product Introduction (NPI) strategy, collaborating closely with engineering to provide application-driven solutions.

• Convert customer feedback and insights from the field into clear product requirements.

• Manage portfolio performance, focusing on growth, margin, and profitability.

• Develop and implement pricing strategies while supporting key customer interactions.

• Collaborate directly with Sales and customers in enterprise buildings, structured cabling, and commercial data centers.

• Assess competitive dynamics and position Molex solutions based on reliability, ease of deployment, and total cost of ownership.

• Foster cross-functional alignment among engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure effective execution.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and portfolio optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in product management or leadership of product lines within connectivity, structured cabling, or related infrastructure markets.

• Strong business and financial insight with the capability to link strategy to outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insights into executable product strategies.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration within technical settings.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
