This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Supervise the governance and compliance team to ensure global compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Consistently evaluate and revise procurement policies to ensure they are in line with local regulations and international best practices.
• Create and execute compliance monitoring initiatives to guarantee continuous adherence to procurement policies.
• Ensure that procurement policies are standardized across all global locations, considering regional regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Partner with regional procurement teams to comprehend local regulations and incorporate them into overarching global policies.
• Formulate detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for procurement operations.
• Periodically assess and modify SOPs to reflect updates in regulations, policies, and business operations.
• Facilitate training sessions for procurement personnel on governance and compliance issues.
• Recognize potential compliance risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Perform regular audits and evaluations to verify compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and regional procurement teams, to ensure a unified approach to procurement governance and compliance.
• Establish and oversee a Center of Excellence (CoE) for procurement governance and compliance to promote best practices and continuous enhancement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline.
• A relevant certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is preferred.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in procurement governance, compliance, or a similar area.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing procurement policies and SOPs within a global organization.
• Training sessions for procurement staff on governance and compliance matters.
• Development of training materials and resources to facilitate the understanding and execution of procurement policies and SOPs.
