Global Process Owner – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Formulate the vision, strategy, and goals for the Accounting process.

• Oversee the comprehensive alignment of the Accounting process in collaboration with BPM, BPEs, and IT.

• Create business cases and functional roadmaps while managing ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Accountable for the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cross Services teams.

• Assess process performance and establish relevant KPIs for the Accounting function.

• Develop and enforce procedures, ensuring compliance, and create as well as maintain thorough process documentation and training resources.

• Work closely with Business Process Experts to identify areas for improvement and track process performance.

• Facilitate organizational transformation through the use of shared services and AI.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting/finance or equivalent.

• Solid understanding of the End-to-End Accounting process.

• Enthusiastic about the company's vision and future direction.

• Adequate experience to initiate change and make difficult decisions.

• Strong focus on business acumen, supported by proficient SAP S/4HANA skills.

• Excellent command of English (minimum C1);

• Proficiency in German (minimum B2) is advantageous; willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
