Global Process Engineer – Tooling, Fixtures, Lifting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Create standards for tooling, fixtures, and lift fixture processes & equipment.

• Implement global standards throughout the Aero Alliance factories, collaborating with local factory technical leaders.

• Design, qualify, and enhance manufacturing processes.

• Establish global process and equipment standards and ensure their implementation in Aero Alliance factories, in partnership with local factory technical leaders.

• Define, manage, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets.

• Validate engineering specifications and the application of new processes on the shop floor.

• Collaborate with channels to develop new repair processes and their qualifications.

• Formulate and execute reliability enhancement strategies leveraging industry best practices.

• Work alongside maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on minimizing equipment downtime and enhancing quality processes.

• Oversee investigations into failures and recurring issues.

• Offer technical support for asset management.

• Provide training to local factory manufacturing engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.

• Over 7 years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality.

• More than 5 years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with specialization in Tooling, Fixtures, Material Lifting Devices, and Fixtures.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and quality processes.

• Capability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics.

• Proficient project management skills and experience.
