Global Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily payroll processing functions, ensuring that payroll operations proceed accurately and punctually.

• Assist in enhancing payroll processes by identifying gaps, refining workflows, and establishing more consistent operational methods.

• Engage in payroll-related projects, which include systems, interfaces, and broader operational advancements within the department.

• Collaborate with internal teams to rebuild trust, enhance cooperation, and align on the data, processes, and support required for effective payroll management.

• Play a vital role in enhancing the overall payroll function by actively contributing to the creation of structure, driving improvements, and facilitating scalable global operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of Polish payroll as your primary expertise, along with broader international payroll experience to support global operations.

• Knowledge of Polish benefits processing and taxation of benefits, which are essential to the role.

• Experience in a global tech scale-up is advantageous, especially if you can discuss process improvement projects you’ve been involved in.

• Familiarity with payroll and HR systems like HiBob, Active Payroll, ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of interfaces, payroll data flows, and reporting from HR systems into payroll processes.

• Proficient in English at a C1+ level and comfortable working within an international setting.

• A proactive attitude that fits a role focused on building structure rather than merely following established procedures.
