This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Oversee comprehensive global payroll operations, managing workstreams and timelines to ensure the punctual processing of payroll data across more than 15 countries where DoiT operates.
• Conduct payroll forecasting and reporting, preparing and analyzing data for financial reporting and ad-hoc inquiries, while ensuring accuracy and proper presentation of information.
• Reconcile and balance payroll with the financial general ledger.
• Monitor and report on bonus and severance accruals.
• Source new vendors and maintain relationships with existing Payroll system providers, establishing SLAs and KPIs to guarantee service delivery and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure tax compliance by filing quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, amending reports as necessary, and adhering to business registration requirements.
• Oversee the employee experience related to our ESOP program and exercise process, supporting the system implementation of new equity management tools when required.
• Deliver a world-class service model for employees.
• Lead special projects related to payroll operations and compliance.
• Manage enrollment initiatives for employee pension and insurance plans.
• Serve as the primary contact for contractor costs, invoices, and inquiries.
• Drive payroll innovation and continual process enhancements.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience specifically in Payroll, with exposure to Global payroll practices.
• Preferred knowledge or experience with US, EMEA, and other international payroll processes.
• Familiarity with leading payroll across multiple regions while addressing local requirements.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems coupled with advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
• Highly data-driven, capable of translating big-picture concepts into actionable steps.
• Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.
• In-depth understanding of interdependencies with cross-functional stakeholders (equity, tax, accounting, FP&A, legal, compensation, benefits).
• Excellent prioritization skills, able to navigate a dynamic and rapidly changing environment by identifying urgent situations.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of exercising sound judgment to resolve complex issues and influence outcomes.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with relevant experience in a similar position. A master's degree in business administration is advantageous.
