This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Oversee the complete global payroll operations, managing workflows and scheduling to guarantee the timely preparation of payroll data for more than 15 countries where DoiT functions.
• Conduct payroll forecasting and reporting, which includes the preparation and analysis of financial reports and ad-hoc requests, while maintaining the accuracy and proper presentation of information.
• Ensure balanced reconciliation with the financial general ledger.
• Monitor and report on bonus and severance accruals.
• Source new vendors and manage existing relationships for payroll systems, establishing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective service delivery and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including the filing of quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, amending reports as necessary, and adhering to business registration requirements.
• Oversee the employee experience related to our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) program and the exercise process. Assist in the implementation of new equity management tools when appropriate.
• Deliver a world-class service model for employees.
• Lead special projects related to payroll operations and compliance.
• Direct enrollment projects for employee pension plans and insurance.
• Act as the primary contact for contractor costs, invoices, and inquiries.
• Drive payroll innovation and continuous process improvements.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in Payroll with exposure to global payroll operations.
• Preferred knowledge or experience with US, EMEA, and other international payroll processes.
• Familiarity with managing payroll across multiple regions while addressing a high level of local requirements.
• Experience with HRIS systems along with advanced skills in spreadsheet management.
• Highly data-driven with the ability to translate big-picture strategies into actionable tasks.
• Strong project management skills and keen attention to detail are essential.
• In-depth understanding of interdependencies with cross-functional stakeholders (equity, tax, accounting, FP&A, legal, compensation, benefits).
• Excellent prioritization abilities: Capable of working in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment by prioritizing urgent situations effectively.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and utilizing sound judgment to resolve complex issues and influence outcomes.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field along with relevant experience in a similar capacity. A master's degree in business administration is an advantage.
