This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.
• Oversee comprehensive global payroll operations, coordinating workflows and schedules to guarantee the timely preparation of payroll information across more than 15 countries where DoiT operates.
• Conduct payroll forecasting and reporting, which includes the preparation and analysis for financial reporting and ad-hoc requests, ensuring data accuracy and effective presentation.
• Balance and reconcile with the financial general ledger.
• Monitor and report on bonus and severance accruals.
• Source new vendors and manage current relationships for payroll systems, establishing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Ensure tax compliance, including the filing of quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, submitting amended reports, and adhering to business registration requirements.
• Oversee the employee experience related to our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) program and exercise process, supporting the implementation of new equity management tools as necessary.
• Deliver a world-class service model for employees.
• Lead special projects related to payroll operations and compliance.
• Manage enrollment projects for pension plans and insurance for employees.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractor costs, invoices, and inquiries.
• Drive payroll innovation and continuous process improvements.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in Payroll with global payroll exposure.
• Preferred knowledge or experience with US, EMEA, and other international payroll processes.
• Familiarity with leading payroll across multiple geographies, addressing diverse local needs.
• Experience with HRIS systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Highly data-driven with the ability to translate big-picture concepts into actionable plans.
• Strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
• Solid understanding of interdependencies with cross-functional stakeholders, including equity, tax, accounting, FP&A, legal, compensation, and benefits.
• Excellent prioritization skills: capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by addressing urgent situations effectively.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to exercise sound judgment to resolve complex issues and influence outcomes.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with relevant experience in a similar role. A master's degree in business administration is an advantage.
