This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the designated country or region.
• Participate in Sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead.
• Engage in Sales hand-over, lead client hand-over, and client kick-off calls.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Drive the process from initial stages through to parallel runs and the first month of ‘Live’ payroll before transitioning to Payroll Operations.
• Maintain a record of all decisions made during the implementation process and ensure Payroll Operations have comprehensive visibility, including necessary Standard Operating Procedures for 'Business As Usual'.
• Create and uphold detailed project plans and timelines.
• Act as the primary contact for all stakeholders involved in the implementation, including internal teams and customers.
• Develop and standardize payroll processes, project plans, and procedures to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Offer ongoing support during and post-implementation to address any issues or challenges.
• Assist the broader implementation team (including Payroll Generalists) and operations team.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Proficient in implementing and refining processes.
• Capable of mentoring, supporting, and leading Payroll Generalists who will collaborate with you.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance our platform, conduct UAT testing, and ensure all changes are well-documented.
• Extensive experience in payroll within a client payroll setting.
• In-depth legislative knowledge relevant to the country.
• Experience in payroll implementation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating payroll processes and issues to customers and other stakeholders.
• Profound understanding of local payroll tools and software such as SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a commitment to making an impact.
• Background in accounting or reconciliations.
• A productivity enthusiast who continually seeks ways to optimize and expedite work.
• Understanding of the necessity and ideal of working largely asynchronously.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
