Global Partner, Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assist in data-driven decision-making by identifying performance drivers, conducting scenario analyses, forecasting the effects of strategic initiatives, and constructing business cases.

• Create and oversee regular reporting schedules, delivering executive-ready updates that monitor progress against milestones, highlight significant variances, and offer early insights into the health of initiatives.

• Maintain data integrity and cleanliness across all project models and tracking tools, acting as the "single source of truth" for performance data related to initiatives.

• Convert high-level strategies into detailed action plans, overseeing the daily execution of phases, milestones, and project "rituals" (such as stand-ups and progress reports).

• Supervise essential workstreams within larger initiatives, ensuring that technical execution (such as dashboard development or process mapping) aligns with the overall strategic vision.

• Ensure a smooth transition of completed projects to functional teams, including the creation of documentation and training resources to guarantee long-term sustainability.

• Develop impactful briefing materials, memos, and presentations to assist the Director in obtaining support from senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

• Act as a central liaison for cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project requirements and expectations across varying seniority levels.

• Collaborate with various teams to gather stakeholder requirements, ensuring that recommendations are rooted in the operational realities of functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Excel. Highly adept at navigating extensive, complex data sets. Capable of building intricate, auditable models from the ground up (e.g., utilizing advanced Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, and scenario modeling).

• Moderate expertise in data visualization. Proficient in "visual storytelling" – transforming intricate data and project updates into polished, executive-ready presentations.

• Moderate SQL capabilities. Able to query and pre-aggregate large data sets prior to analyzing them in Excel.

• Strong Communication skills. Capable of tailoring communication styles to diverse audiences and forums. Skilled at synthesizing complex analyses into practical takeaways and crafting narratives to achieve consensus on recommendations.

• Proficient English language skills are required. Why? English is our company language and is utilized for all business-wide communications, so you need to be able to communicate effectively in English to feel fully integrated into Booksy.

• Analytical Rigor. Able to independently extract, clean, and verify intricate data sets. Transforms raw data into structured, auditable models that cross-functional partners can easily navigate and validate. Possesses strong technical troubleshooting instincts, proactively identifying and rectifying data discrepancies before they reach leadership.

• Structured Problem-Solving approach. Demonstrates a disciplined, logical methodology to ambiguity. Capable of dissecting broad, complex business challenges into manageable components and designing structured frameworks (e.g., decision matrices, process flows) to address them.

• Strategic Mindset. Effectively assesses the genuine commercial impact and feasibility of recommendations based on both analytical and operational considerations. Instinctively prioritizes tasks based on business impact.
