This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
• Ensure that both internal and external escalation pathways are adhered to.
• Define roles and communication channels for secondary project leads when necessary.
• Take ownership of overall cross-functional project delivery concerning time, budget, and quality.
• Oversee financial management, alignment of resources with budget, out-of-scope activity handling, contract modifications negotiations, and execution of timelines.
• Set, communicate, and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Facilitate project-level risk identification and resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance of the project team with organizational policies, standard operating procedures, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.
• Assist in and review study budget planning and management.
• Relay study status, costs, and issues to the COM and COPL.
• Act as an escalation point for vendors managed by Strategic Partners and/or other Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
• Supervise the selection of Strategic Partners/CROs/vendors, budget and contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and escalation of issues to governance committees.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Global Lead Project Manager in clinical trial execution.
• Several years of proven experience in comprehensive vendor management and oversight across a diverse range of vendor types.
• Experience in managing vendors.
• Background in supporting and reviewing study budget planning and management.
• Familiarity with external expenditures related to study execution.
• Experience collaborating with COM, COPL, Global Program Management, and Finance departments.
• Proficient in communicating study status, costs, and issues.
• Proven experience in overseeing the selection of Strategic Partners/CROs/vendors, budget and contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
• Technical proficiency in systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and organizational systems.
• Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities and situations.
• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, including time, quality, cost, and financial awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Strong judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Capable of negotiating, persuading, and influencing others, with awareness of cross-cultural nuances.
