Global Incident Response Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in scoping and consultation calls with clients, partners, and their teams, including other stakeholders.

• Prepare scoping and proposal documentation and assist in contractual processes.

• Promptly and accurately address partner or client needs and requests, including proposals, pricing quotes, and contracts, as well as activities that enhance existing partnerships.

• Oversee assigned caseload with minimal supervision, managing the entire sales process and ensuring delivery.

• Employ data collection tools, EDR, forensic tools, threat intelligence, dark web scraping/search tools, APIs, and other resources to support DFIR engagements.

• Provide support for Threat Actor engagements.

• Extract, review, and analyze log data.

• Assist in the preparation of case documentation such as forensic reports.

• Support the team throughout the lifecycle of cases.

• Ensure client satisfaction, engagement, and success to aid in retention.

• Review documentation and offer constructive and meaningful feedback through analysis.

• Communicate technical report findings and recommendations both internally and with clients regarding identified forensic investigation evidence, vulnerabilities, data exposure, and general risks.

• During periods between assessments, this individual is expected to assist in ongoing improvements to processes and tools, including research on current trends and issues in the field.

• Collaborate with the business development team on account management tasks such as client reporting, contracting, and quarterly account reviews.

• Utilize key systems to accurately report insights and analyze operational and market trends to support the business development team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, digital forensics, or a related technology field.

• Exceptional relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Proven years of experience in incident response, project management, and legal compliance preferred.

• Proven years of experience in account management or inside sales, communicating with all levels of the buying organization preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours, conduct consultations, and draft initial case documentation outside of banking hours.

• Experience with EDR tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Huntress, etc.

• Experience with data mining tools such as Canopy preferred.

• Industry knowledge related to insurance, cybersecurity, identity protection, and/or government contract experience.

• Experience managing complex processes to completion.

• JD or Master’s degree in cybersecurity is a plus.

• CISSP, CISM, CIPP (or CISA with a focus on privacy and security) certifications are advantageous.

• Well-developed communication and listening skills; capable of quickly and effectively analyzing partner or client needs.

• Highly professional and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities with strong verbal and visual presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Proficiency in additional languages is desirable.
