Global Immigration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with global vendors.

• Provide guidance to employees and managers on immigration policies and requirements, ensuring worldwide consistency and fairness.

• Serve as a liaison between candidates, transfers, and external counsel to offer ongoing support and coordination for the immigration process.

• Facilitate the evaluation of new candidates and transfers to determine eligibility for sponsorship.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Analyze intricate immigration issues and effectively convey solutions to internal clients in collaboration with external immigration counsel.

• Proactively pinpoint process improvements with a focus on enhancing the employee experience.

• Monitor and address global immigration issues through our shared immigration mailbox.

• Escalate and track issues while maintaining communication with key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with immigration team members on projects designed to enhance processes and improve the employee experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 6 years of experience in corporate business immigration across EMEA, APAC, and Canada.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask using analytical skills in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Effective time management skills.

• Uphold a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.

• Capable of addressing problems under tight deadlines.

• Exhibit flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for oneself and the team.

• Meet established deadlines and communicate case progress, status, and issues to the supervisor.

• Clear and concise communicator with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
