This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +7 more states.
• Assist local Critical Power leaders and HSE experts in comprehending their obligations, liabilities, and requirements.
• Ensure the effective implementation and utilization of HSE policies across local commercial units within Critical Power.
• Integrate HSE requirements into sales and tendering processes, guaranteeing that bids and contracts accurately reflect site safety obligations, resource allocation, and associated costs.
• Collaborate with Project Management to incorporate HSE planning into project execution, including kickoff risk assessments, site mobilization checklists, and post-project reviews of lessons learned.
• Aid customer HSE pre-qualification processes and represent the organization during customer safety audits and site safety interactions.
• Establish global HSE KPIs and targets for site and field activities, reporting performance metrics to commercial leadership.
• Lead HSE steering committee and governance evaluations with regional Sales, Project Management, and Service leadership.
• Ensure adherence to local site safety and contractor regulations across all operating countries.
• Monitor regulatory changes in collaboration with legal and regional teams.
• Mentor regional Sales, Project Management, and Service managers while instilling safety accountability into the routines of commercial leadership.
• Provide regular reporting on HSE performance and risk to both commercial leadership and senior management.
• Manage global relationships with customers, insurers, and external auditors.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Five to ten years of progressive experience in HSE, including a minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership role focused on field/site operations within a global or multi-regional context.
• Strong experience in site-based installation, commissioning, or service environments, particularly in the electrical, power electronics, energy, or heavy industrial equipment sectors.
• Proficiency in high-voltage/electrical safety, arc-flash risk management, working at heights, and contractor management on third-party sites.
• Experience in integrating HSE into sales/tendering and project delivery processes for large-scale contracts is highly advantageous.
• Experience in a global matrix organization, with the ability to influence Sales, Project Management, and Service leadership without direct authority.
