This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of Spellbook's global events strategy and calendar, encompassing flagship conferences and executive dinners.
• Develop concepts, brand moments, and standards for guest experiences.
• Manage the events budget, prioritizing investments across various programs.
• Brief, direct, and hold agencies accountable for the final event experiences.
• Conduct RFPs and select agency/vendor partners.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to establish target accounts and define event objectives.
• Monitor and report on event performance in relation to pipeline and revenue impact.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the broader field marketing team.
• Over 7 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing.
• A genuine perspective on what constitutes a successful event.
• Experience working in an agency environment or with creative/production agencies.
• Ability to connect event strategy directly to business results.
• Strong understanding of demand generation and experience collaborating with demand generation teams.
• Comfortable managing a budget and making trade-offs across multiple programs.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales and Demand Gen leadership.
• Strong communication skills, capable of briefing creative agencies and presenting event ROI to leadership.
