Global Engineer, Enterprise Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced technical support to both internal teams and external clients, encompassing installation assistance, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software.

• Identify and resolve intricate hardware, software, or connectivity challenges.

• Collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams within the organization to influence product implementation, integration, and enhance solutions, including collaboration with BU R&D teams and product management.

• Address security-related incidents and support remediation efforts for cyber security breaches (including system and/or network breaches and malware attacks).

• Spearhead the resolution of complex and challenging technical issues and projects that demand thorough evaluation across multiple areas of application, integration, and delivering innovative solutions requiring creativity and advanced analytical thinking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of the IHC, Histology, Pathology marketplace, or a related discipline.

• Established knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining digital pathology instruments and software.

• Proven capability to discuss necessary network, system resources, and security requirements with customer IT managers.

• Proficient in installing and upgrading clients/servers, as well as installing additional peripherals such as network interfaces, firewalls, barcode readers, printers, etc.

• Prior experience in understanding anatomic pathology or a background in a medical lab environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Leica Biosystems Pathology instruments and software is preferred.

• Relevant technical certification in Networking or Security is preferred.
