This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
β’ Oversee the medical strategy and act as the primary liaison for the cross-functional global brand team.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of the therapeutic indication and pertinent clinical data.
β’ Develop and implement global medical communication and tactical strategies in partnership with the medical team.
β’ Cultivate and enhance relationships with global key opinion leaders (KOLs).
β’ Create and distribute scientific communications, including support for the publication strategy.
β’ Provide scientific and medical insights for materials produced by commercial, HEOR, Access, and patient engagement teams.
β’ Develop training resources and deliver scientific education internally and externally.
β’ Represent Sobi as a trusted partner in interactions with external collaborators, stakeholders, and partners.
β’ A PhD or medical degree (MD) is required.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in a global medical affairs position, preferably in the rare disease sector.
β’ Proven ability to engage effectively and build relationships with key external stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated success in crafting and executing strategic and tactical medical plans.
β’ Strong track record of delivering essential medical affairs outputs and initiatives.
β’ Proficiency in evaluating and analyzing medical/scientific literature with accuracy and precision.
β’ Outstanding presentation skills with the capacity to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
