Global Development Specialist – Major Donors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a fundraising strategy that emphasizes grant-giving trusts and foundations.

• Transform programmatic concepts into viable and fundable initiatives in partnership with Impact Hub Makers.

• Maintain consistent communication with Impact Hub Makers to evaluate and understand development plans and programs.

• Assist IHC’s Fundraising and Programme Development initiatives by exploring new opportunities.

• Collaborate with the Development Team to craft proposals and presentations.

• Work alongside the Management Team to harness synergies across various work areas and resources.

• Participate in regular global team meetings and engage in relevant strategy workshops.

• Keep organizational systems and processes updated and maintain accurate data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fundraising from private or public donors.

• Successfully led the submission of proposals valued at €1m or more.

• Strong understanding of and direct experience in the international social enterprise/social innovation sector.

• At least 2 years of experience working within an international network.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English, along with another major language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, etc.).

• Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with donors.

• Comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders.

• Capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary and distributed teams.

• Able to demonstrate the fundamental principles of the Impact Hub approach: global mindset, entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation, and outstanding execution capabilities.
