This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design, oversee, and maintain SGS’s global job architecture and job grading systems.
• Lead market benchmarking and salary range development; analyze internal compensation practices and labor market trends to guide merit budgets and pay decisions.
• Assist in the design of short- and long-term incentive plans (both cash and equity).
• Interpret financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and evaluate the business impact of reward decisions.
• Offer expert guidance to HR and senior leaders in a global, multicultural setting.
• Work closely with a small, high-performing team and mentor colleagues on reward-related topics.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Strong experience in compensation management within a multinational or global context.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced spreadsheet skills (actuarial/statistical analysis is a significant plus).
• Solid understanding of job architecture, job leveling, and salary benchmarking.
• Capable of interpreting financial statements and KPIs.
• Experience in designing incentive plans and communicating rewards.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Swiss labor law and the Swiss Code of Obligations (preferred).
• Interest in technology and recent advancements, including AI.
• Flexible, hybrid work options available throughout Europe.
