This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Design, oversee, and sustain the global job architecture and job grading systems for SGS.
• Spearhead market benchmarking and salary range formulation; evaluate internal compensation practices and labor market trends to guide merit budgets and pay decisions.
• Assist in the development of short- and long-term incentive plans (both cash and equity).
• Analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and evaluate the business impact of reward-related decisions.
• Offer expert advice to HR and senior leaders within a diverse, global environment.
• Work closely with a small, high-performing team and mentor colleagues on reward-related topics.
• Cultivate relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Extensive experience in compensation management within a multinational or global context.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced spreadsheet capabilities (actuarial/statistical analysis is a significant advantage).
• Strong background in job architecture, job leveling, and salary benchmarking.
• Capability to interpret financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in designing incentive plans and communicating reward strategies.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Swiss labor law and the Swiss Code of Obligations (preferred).
• Interest in technology and recent advancements, including AI.
