This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Design, oversee, and sustain the global job architecture and job grading systems for SGS.
• Lead market benchmarking efforts and salary range development; analyze internal compensation strategies and labor market dynamics to guide merit budgets and pay decisions.
• Assist in the design of short- and long-term incentive programs (both cash and equity).
• Interpret financial statements (including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and evaluate the business implications of reward-related decisions.
• Offer expert advice to HR and senior leaders within a diverse, global environment.
• Work closely with a compact, high-performing team and mentor colleagues on reward-related topics.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Significant experience in compensation management within a multinational or global context.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced spreadsheet capabilities (actuarial/statistical analysis is a strong advantage).
• Strong understanding of job architecture, job leveling, and salary benchmarking.
• Capability to interpret financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in designing incentive plans and communicating rewards effectively.
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Swiss labor law and the Swiss Code of Obligations (preferred).
• Keen interest in technology and recent advancements, including artificial intelligence.
• Flexible, hybrid work arrangements available throughout Europe.
