This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Establish the global communication strategy aligned with Aldelia’s objectives.
• Identify and cultivate a network of prospective external partners.
• Formulate and execute impactful communication strategies that enhance customer loyalty programs, brand recognition, and employee satisfaction.
• Plan and oversee the design, content, and production of all promotional materials.
• Collaborate with various departments to generate innovative ideas and strategies.
• Manage projects to ensure all content is publication-ready and prepare comprehensive media activity reports.
• Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions, while assessing their success.
• Address communication-related issues promptly.
• Establish key performance indicators for each communication channel to measure the success of campaigns.
• Identify strategic communication campaigns that advance organizational goals.
• Create internal communication protocols and initiatives that enhance employee morale.
• Oversee the development of marketing and communications materials to ensure consistency with the organization’s brand, including white papers, website content, and more.
• Produce informative and engaging press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related communication materials.
• Represent the organization at events and press conferences, assisting with CEO speaking engagements.
• Reach out to influencers, media, and other outlets to arrange national and global story placements.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
• Membership in a relevant professional body is preferred.
• An MBA is considered an advantage.
• At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in creating targeted content is beneficial.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure is required.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and visual design.
• Corporate extrovert with the ability to travel occasionally.
• Proficient in both English and French, with Portuguese being a plus.
• Employees have the option to work remotely.
