This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of global new business initiatives across four markets and three product lines, with responsibility for forecasting.
• Lead the sales and partnerships teams under a unified operating rhythm, forecasting standards, and coaching expectations.
• Drive the direct sales engine, focusing on pipeline management, outbound strategies, conversion rates, cycle times, and representative productivity.
• Expand the partner channel through recruitment, activation, enablement, and conversion efforts.
• Establish credit and compensation guidelines for partner-sourced, influenced, and co-sold transactions.
• Develop EMEA by leveraging the active German partner base, with the UK serving as the initial proof of concept.
• Redefine prospecting, qualification, preparation, selling, and forecasting processes with a focus on AI, leading organizational transformation.
• Drive attachment and cross-selling opportunities across Boost Commerce, REVIEWS.io, and Clearer.
• Build momentum on the US East Coast with regular presence in New York.
• Recruit and nurture commercial and partnerships leadership in New York and EMEA.
• Collaborate with the executive team to shape strategy, planning, and board reports.
• Mobilize Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and broader leadership around the growth strategy.
• Over 8 years of experience in commercial or sales leadership roles.
• Significant multi-region ownership experience in at least two of EMEA, North America, and APAC.
• In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, including the App Store, agency and SI landscape, technology partnerships, and merchant purchasing behavior.
• Proven track record of managing and achieving direct new business targets while building supporting organizational structures.
• Experience in hiring, quota design, enablement, and performance coaching methodologies.
• Background in leading high-volume SMB and mid-market sales operations, managing hundreds of deals annually with four- and five-figure ACVs.
• Experience in developing a partner-led strategy that transforms partners into a measurable revenue source.
• Ability to align Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and other departments with commercial strategies.
• Exceptional influence, operational, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Practical experience in implementing AI within a sales organization and ensuring its successful adoption.
• Confidence in leading, developing, and managing team performance across different time zones.
• Located in the UK and open to travel bi-weekly within the UK and EMEA, quarterly to the US, and annually to Australia.
• Proficiency in German or experience in the DACH market (preferred).
• Experience in multi-product or portfolio selling (preferred).
• Experience in regional turnaround situations (preferred).
• Operating experience in a private equity-backed business (preferred).
