📋 Description

• You will establish and implement Baringa’s global benefits strategy, ensuring that the benefits offered are competitive, compliant, cost-efficient, and aligned with the firm’s Employee Value Proposition.

• You will take ownership of global benefit design, benchmarking, and investment decisions, utilizing market insights and data to achieve a balance between employee experience, risk, and commercial objectives.

• You will oversee the complete process of global insurance renewals (including medical, risk, and travel benefits), providing clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• You will manage relationships with brokers and providers, leading negotiations, overseeing performance, and addressing issues as necessary.

• You will be responsible for the global benefits operating model, ensuring processes are scalable, efficient, and uniformly applied across all countries.

• You will direct the long-term benefits systems roadmap, incorporating Workday and associated tools.

• You will ensure robust financial governance across benefits, including budget management, forecasting, invoice control, and readiness for audits.

• You will establish and approve the global benefits communications strategy, ensuring that high-impact communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with key employee lifecycle moments.

• You will design and implement Wellbeing Weeks and significant wellbeing initiatives throughout the organization, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver impactful, inclusive programs.

• You will lead, mentor, and develop the Global Benefits Team.

• You will serve as the senior benefits partner to People, Finance, Payroll, HR Operations, and Business Enablement leadership, influencing decisions through trusted relationships and data-driven insights.

• You will represent global benefits at leadership forums, offering clear advice, effective challenges, and recommendations that align with Baringa’s values and strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing global or multi-country benefits programs.

• Familiarity with systems, ideally with experience using the Workday Benefits Portal or integrating new benefit technology systems.

• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end benefit renewals, including benchmarking, financial analysis, and recommendations for senior management.

• Strong commercial acumen, with experience negotiating with brokers and providers and managing ongoing vendor performance.

• A history of driving operational excellence, encompassing process improvement, controls, audits, and risk management.

• Experience with FlexBens offerings, considering global nuances.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing people.

• Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions through insights and sound judgment.

• Proficient in creating and presenting materials using software such as PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical and financial details into clear messages for employees and executive-ready decision papers.
