This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of account strategies and plans aimed at fostering sustainable growth and profitability within the vertical market.
• Oversee the comprehensive relationship management with key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer experience.
• Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with senior customer representatives across various geographic regions and functions.
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for all account-related inquiries, including contract negotiations and escalations.
• Discover and cultivate new business opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders across DSV divisions.
• Leverage industry insights, customer data, and market trends to formulate value propositions and account management strategies.
• Encourage operational and commercial alignment between divisions to ensure consistent execution on a global scale.
• Track financial and performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer retention, and satisfaction levels.
• Promote cross-selling and innovation initiatives to enhance DSV’s market presence.
• A relevant university degree that provides a solid analytical and professional foundation.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development or commercial leadership roles within logistics, or experience within the aerospace & defense vertical market.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate, multi-regional customer relationships and meet measurable growth objectives.
• Strong consultative sales and negotiation capabilities, with a history of engaging with executive-level stakeholders and management.
• Profound understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations, including commercial and financial dimensions.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills across various cultural and organizational levels.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, supported by CRM and performance management tools.
• Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
