This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership and lead the strategy for targeted, personalized ABM initiatives aimed at acquiring and expanding high-value accounts.
• Develop, scale, and operationalize an ABM engine that integrates brand, demand, and sales into a cohesive strategy at both global and regional levels.
• Oversee the design and implementation of Smartsheet's ABM strategy, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and sales objectives.
• Advocate for ABM and share performance insights across Marketing and Sales leadership to foster strategic alignment and a clear understanding of approaches and outcomes.
• Meet account and segment pipeline and engagement targets through effective account-based marketing strategies and tactics.
• Craft highly relevant messaging tailored for individual accounts and account clusters.
• Develop and implement integrated ABM programs utilizing insights, digital marketing, email, prospecting, direct mail, events, and customized web tactics.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, SDRs, Field Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to coordinate 1:1 and 1:Few account messaging, outreach, and engagement.
• Leverage predictive marketing, CRM, and marketing automation tools to oversee and enhance ABM outreach efforts.
• Evaluate ABM program performance by defining and tracking key performance metrics and measuring ROI to continually refine the ABM strategy.
• Equip sales teams with relevant playbooks, collateral, and training to maximize the impact of the program.
• Work in conjunction with client-facing teams to gather feedback, adjust tactics, and synchronize outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate across Marketing (Product, Content, Digital, Field, etc.) to integrate ABM best practices into global campaigns, launches, and customer expansion efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Over 12 years of experience in B2B Marketing.
• More than 5 years of experience specifically in focused ABM marketing.
• Extensive B2B marketing experience across various mediums, including developing messaging platforms and crafting persuasive copy for email, direct mail, digital ads, SDR scripts, and marketing materials.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to formulate and execute a comprehensive ABM strategy.
• Proficient data analysis and interpretation skills, enabling the identification of trends, opportunities, and challenges within account data.
• Capability to comprehend what matters to various buyer personas, including senior decision-makers, and create tailored messaging and collateral that resonates with them.
• Proven history of designing and scaling multi-channel ABM programs that yield measurable revenue impact.
• In-depth understanding of sales alignment, buyer journey orchestration, and the relationship between brand, content, and demand.
• Familiarity with ABM intent tools, Salesforce, Marketo, and predictive analytics tools.
• Self-motivated with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• Ability to assess and tackle complex problems with multiple, evolving variables.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills – must be energetic and passionate with the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving ABM goals.
• Prior experience in leading high-performing teams successfully.
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on performance measurement and analytics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis.
