GIS Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise geospatial capabilities within a federal context.

• Act as the technical leader for geospatial architecture projects.

• Facilitate the enterprise GIS strategy, system integration, cloud modernization initiatives, and geospatial governance efforts.

• Create and implement enterprise geospatial solutions that enable mission-critical operations, data-driven decision-making, and organization-wide access to geospatial information.

• Work alongside technical, operational, and business partners to establish innovative GIS capabilities that align with cloud, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable field.

• At least 6 years of specialized experience in enterprise GIS, geospatial architecture, or geospatial solution development.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise environments.

• Background in supporting enterprise geospatial governance, data management, and system integration efforts.

• Expertise in architecting geospatial solutions in cloud or hybrid settings.

• Experience in supporting geospatial web services, dashboards, and enterprise GIS applications.

• Familiarity with GIS data models, geospatial databases, and enterprise geospatial workflows.

• Experience with cybersecurity, access control, and compliance obligations within enterprise systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities at once.
