Geotechnical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the company's geotechnical team to organize and execute site investigations in line with project objectives and technical specifications.

• Offer technical guidance to field investigation teams, including the placement of boreholes, in-situ testing, sampling requirements, and laboratory testing plans.

• Examine and confirm field investigation documentation, borehole logs, laboratory test outcomes, and geotechnical data.

• Analyze geotechnical and geological data to evaluate subsurface conditions, engineering properties, and geotechnical risks.

• Draft and review Geotechnical Interpretative Reports, which encompass engineering assessments, design parameters, geotechnical recommendations, and considerations for construction.

• Communicate with project managers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate geotechnical insights into designs.

• Provide expert geotechnical advice throughout project planning, design development, and technical evaluations.

• Ensure that investigations, interpretations, and reports meet applicable standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.

• Conduct technical quality assurance and peer reviews of geotechnical outputs prior to submission to clients.

• Mentor and offer technical support to the geotechnical team, fostering consistency, quality, and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

• A Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a similar discipline is preferable.

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ/RPEV), or equivalent professional registration is highly regarded.
