Geodatenmanager – Öffentliche Verwaltung

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management of GIS projects within one of our municipal focus areas such as street infrastructure, public spaces (cemeteries, playgrounds), tree and green maintenance, urban planning, or property management.

• Providing support to our clients in utilizing current GIS and web applications as well as mobile apps.

• Delivering first and second level support in close collaboration with software development and project management.

• Implementation of complex applications either on-premise or cloud-based.

• Training for administrators and users in small groups.

• Offering product-related services to our existing customers.

• Assisting in the further development of our software and the design of new solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of geoinformatics, geosciences, public administration, or similar, or a completed training as a geomatician, technician, or equivalent qualifications (a completed degree is not a prerequisite).

• Experience in the municipal environment is advantageous but not required.

• Knowledge of GIS and/or database systems is a plus.

• A proactive personality with exceptional customer orientation and strong communication skills.

• Team player who enjoys helping others with your expertise and solving problems.

• Ability to work independently.

• Excellent proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
