
Generator Repair Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Lead Technicians on up-tower generator maintenance and repairs, including bearing replacements, re-leads, and wye ring changes.
• Assist in the setup, disassembly, and secure operation of tools and equipment.
• Ascend turbines and conduct work at elevated heights to facilitate repair processes.
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace by properly utilizing and organizing tools.
• Adhere to instructions from the Lead Technician while completing necessary documentation.
• Implement GE LOTO protocols and exhibit safe working practices.
• Promote long-term career advancement through initiative and reliability.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in the wind industry.
• Willingness to travel on a 6 weeks on / 1 week off schedule.
• Comfortable working at heights and in diverse weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, a positive outlook, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions, engage in physical labor, and prioritize safety.
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site for extended periods during projects.
• Must successfully pass drug screening, background checks, and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Capability to climb up to 300 ft. multiple times each day.
• Comfort with working in confined spaces and extreme environmental conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work suspended in a harness for prolonged durations.
