This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Process store requests related to Store Colleague transactions, including wage rate changes, job changes, transfers, and terminations.
• Provide support and respond to basic inquiries from stores.
• Coordinate and facilitate the remote onboarding experience for new hires in collaboration with store leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to audit and monitor the completion of relevant administrative metrics (e.g., yearly compliance requirements, new hire training, new hire assessments, unemployment claims, workers compensation updates, etc.).
• Ensure that all documentation related to employee lifecycle changes—including internal offer letters, compensation updates, reporting structure changes, and role transitions—is accurately captured and stored within the Workday system.
• Assist with global people team initiatives throughout the year (e.g., benefits enrollment, engagement surveys, etc.).
• Maintain availability and responsiveness; deliver customer service promptly and efficiently.
• Introduce innovative methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed about local and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Ensure accuracy when entering transactions from a ticket-based system into Workday.
• Participate in and/or assist the Manager with disseminating communications to the team.
• Collaborate with store leadership and the TA team to proactively support recruiting efforts for both non-exempt and exempt positions as necessary.
• Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in People Services/Human Resources.
• Basic understanding of essential local and federal employment laws.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time to guide the team toward established deadlines.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a remote and/or hybrid setting.
• Basic proficiency in Workday and Google Product Suite, with advanced proficiency preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in People Services/Human Resources is preferred.
• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Demonstrates a natural aptitude for problem-solving through strong analytical thinking and organizational discipline.
• Communicates with honesty and transparency, appropriately challenging the status quo.
• Takes responsibility for resolving internal client issues swiftly while displaying excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Cultivates a collaborative environment for associates and builds strong relationships across the organization to drive results.
• Supports the team in acquiring and developing job-related skills, including proficiency in technology and digital tools.
• Collaborates with the team to consistently enforce policies and procedures while enhancing associate understanding.
