General Practitioner – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver same-day online primary care using Abby Health’s Telehealth platform.

• Provide care for a diverse range of patients dealing with common acute issues, chronic illnesses, mental health concerns, and sexual health needs.

• Oversee patient care from initial diagnosis through to prescriptions, pathology requests, specialist referrals, and preventive measures.

• Assist patients who find it difficult to obtain in-person care and may depend on Abby as their primary healthcare provider.

• Adhere to stringent medical protocols while offering high-quality, evidence-based treatment.

• Utilize structured patient histories and advanced intake tools to prioritize clinical decision-making.

• Enjoy autonomy in managing your schedule and patient load.

• Collaborate with a network of Specialist GPs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid AHPRA Specialist Registration in General Practice.

• Fellowship in FRACGP or FACRRM.

• Currently practicing as a Specialist GP.

• Comfortable operating within a fully digital Telehealth environment.

• Willing to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per month.

• Capable of providing care for acute presentations, chronic diseases, mental health, and sexual health.

• Competent in adhering to strict medical guidelines and delivering evidence-based care.
