General Practitioner – Mandarin Fluency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual healthcare and assistance to adult clients through 10-minute video consultations and asynchronous messaging.

• Address a range of health issues including general health, women's health, preventive care, urinary tract infections, birth control, medications, cold, flu, COVID-19, skin conditions and rashes, pink eye, vaccinations, and allergies.

• Document encounter summaries in MPractice.

• Work together with Maven’s Care Delivery team to fulfill member needs, which includes making recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups.

• Act as an ambassador for Maven’s care model, providing culturally aware, evidence-based healthcare.

• Potentially facilitate community forums, lead virtual member classes, and write or review educational content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed General Practitioner, Primary Care Physician, or equivalent physician eligible to practice in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, or Singapore.

• Proficient in both Mandarin and English, capable of conducting clinical consultations and effectively communicating medical information in both languages.

• Must reside in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, or Singapore.

• Licensed and in good standing with the relevant medical regulatory authority in your country or jurisdiction.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing primary care and/or telehealth services.

• Proven comfort in delivering care through a digital health platform.

• Comfortable providing care via video consultations and asynchronous messaging.

• Must be able to offer direct member care for at least 5 hours each week.

• Enthusiastic about women's health, family health, preventive care, and enhancing access to high-quality healthcare.

• Possess strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to deliver empathetic, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient demographic.
