General Manager, Surgery International

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the performance of the Surgery business in the International Region.

• Oversee the development of offerings, channel strategies, strategic pricing, and commercial execution across various product lines, services, and solutions.

• Promote products, services, parts, solutions, or projects while driving growth within P&L and regional marketing and sales teams.

• Collect customer feedback to define product and solution specifications and requirements.

• Collaborate with commercial and product marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, and Marketing Communications teams.

• Establish channels, go-to-market strategies, and commercial intensity programs for the region.

• Manage quarterly and annual Orders/Sales forecasts, set annual regional targets, and monitor performance against these targets.

• Guide, train, and nurture sales personnel across global markets.

• Create strategies for equipment and services growth in conjunction with Product and Marketing managers.

• Ensure optimal sales coverage and enhance the performance of the sales team.

• Collaborate with global product managers on product launches.

• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-business teams around strategic business and marketing priorities.

• Manage resources to meet orders, revenue, contribution margin, and base-cost objectives.

• Identify customer needs and implement tailored solutions for them.

• Set goals and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.

• Analyze market trends, conduct market research, and manage portfolio priorities.

• Develop pricing strategies and strategies for modality growth.

• Align marketing resources with modality priorities and value propositions.

• Ensure adherence to GEHC quality, privacy, anti-competition, environmental health, and relevant legal policies.

• Complete quality and compliance training and report any concerns.

• Maintain order and configuration quality while driving process simplification.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, including strategic selling and negotiation.

• Strong business acumen and experience in the relevant product area.

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience engaging with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-oriented sales process.

• Capability to resolve complex issues within the functional area and/or area of expertise.

• Excellent communication skills to distill complex issues into clear messages.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.

• Proficiency in English.
