This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take responsibility for the financial performance of the business unit, encompassing revenue, gross margin, operating costs, and profitability.
• Create and implement operational plans that effectively balance customer outcomes with operational efficiency.
• Enhance performance metrics and accountability across various functions.
• Spearhead the integration of AI and automation in both customer-facing and internal workflows.
• Discover opportunities to eliminate manual processes, simplify organizational structures, and boost productivity.
• Promote an AI-first culture throughout the teams.
• Set measurable goals for productivity enhancements and operational leverage.
• Enhance delivery quality, utilization, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

• Align Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Operations with shared business objectives.
• Convert strategic priorities into actionable operational execution.
• Eliminate bottlenecks and enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Lead business reviews and establish operating rhythms.
• Cultivate high-accountability teams that are outcome-focused.
• Mentor managers and nurture future leaders.
• Encourage a culture of ownership, transparency, continuous improvement, and experimentation.
• Achieve increased organizational productivity through AI and automation initiatives within a 12-month timeframe.
• Over 8 years of leadership experience in software or SaaS industries.
• Proven track record in leading operational functions such as Professional Services, Customer Operations, Customer Success, Operations, Business Operations, IT, Delivery, or similar areas.
• Demonstrated accountability for budgets, business performance metrics, or P&L responsibilities.
• Experience in implementing automation, systems enhancements, or AI-driven workflows.
• History of achieving measurable productivity gains and operational efficiencies.
• Strong analytical and financial expertise.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives between technical and business teams.
• Background in life sciences, clinical research, healthcare technology, regulatory software, or related fields (preferred).
• Experience within private-equity-backed software companies (preferred).
• Knowledge of contemporary AI tools, workflow automation platforms, and data-driven operational models (preferred).
