This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Drive profitable expansion of the Service, Installation, and Equipment sectors within operating companies.
• Ensure exceptional safety standards, customer satisfaction, job profitability, and quality of work.
• Supervise and guide Leaders in the Service, Installation, and Equipment divisions.
• Develop the sales organization to enhance market share and strengthen customer relationships.
• Maintain a secure work environment and promote injury-prevention initiatives.
• Oversee business P&L and overall financial health, aiming for an annual 10% increase in top-line sales and a 10% rise in EBITDA.
• Prepare and implement the annual operating plan while collaborating with department heads and controllers to create budgets.
• Adhere to company values, integrity, and policies.
• Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports to manage talent acquisition, development, and retention.
• Cultivate relationships with key customers and general contractors, assess customer satisfaction, and initiate corrective measures when necessary.
• Streamline processes to enhance productivity.
• Oversee significant projects and analyze performance reports.
• Develop and present quarterly business reviews on Smart Care performance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management (or a similar degree program encompassing technical and financial aspects) or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a service-related field.
• At least 2 years of previous P&L ownership and accountability.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and managing customer relationships.
• Prior P&L responsibility of at least $10 Million.
• Proven success in leading a technical workforce.
• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process from initial contact to cash (including sales, customer support, dispatch, service, supply chain, billing, etc.).
• Experience in developing and utilizing service app and dispatch systems.
• Background in the HVAC, Grocery, Foodservice, or equipment repair industries.
• Willingness to travel within the market, dedicating significant time to current and prospective customers while assisting location managers with effective business processes.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (5-year history).
• Preferred: Experience managing a multi-branch technician workforce.
• Preferred: Experience in managing direct customer relationships.
• Preferred: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including sales proficiency.
• Preferred: Proven experience in developing strategic growth and service initiatives.
• Preferred: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
