This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as a reliable advisor to client leadership and VHA stakeholders, offering practical, mission-oriented support.
• Strategize, oversee, and implement enterprise-wide healthcare transformation initiatives from inception to execution.
• Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous projects, quickly establishing structure, scope, and execution strategies.
• Collaborate across VHA program offices, field operations, and external partners to align objectives, manage interdependencies, and facilitate decision-making.
• Utilize program management, industrial engineering, and healthcare systems engineering principles to create safe, comprehensive, and efficient solutions.
• Provide enterprise program and project management services, often influenced by legislation, policy shifts, and executive directives.
• Identify and manage risks, resource limitations, and budget considerations amidst competing priorities.
• Generate high-quality, executive-ready deliverables that inform decision-making and advance mission objectives.
• Adapt swiftly as priorities evolve, offering concierge-level support to leadership and program teams.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in management consulting, healthcare transformation, or federal health programs.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Desired certifications include PMP, Prosci, Lean, Human-Centered Design, or similar qualifications.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Demonstrated experience supporting Veterans Health Administration or federal healthcare initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Strong program and project management skills with experience in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including comfort in engaging with senior government leaders.
• Highly organized, systematic, and proactive with strong follow-through.
• A proactive doer who achieves results without requiring constant supervision.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Trusted expertise in executive-level advisory roles.
• Coordinate collaboration across VHA program offices, field operations, and executive leadership.
