
General Liability Defense Attorney – Texas Admission Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a litigation caseload from its initiation to final resolution
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and various other litigation-related documents
• Engage directly with clients to offer strategic guidance and consistent updates on case progress
• Conduct and defend depositions, as well as take part in mediations and settlement discussions
• Participate in court appearances, inspections, motion practices, hearings, and trial preparations
• Manage a diverse array of general liability defense cases, including premises liability and New York Labor Law construction accident claims
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices and practice areas on intricate litigation matters
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Must be admitted to practice law in Texas
• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense, general liability, premises liability, or construction accident cases
• Outstanding writing, research, analytical, and communication abilities
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic litigation setting
• Excellent organizational, case management, and interpersonal skills
