Gear Project Manager – Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead the switchgear project team to ensure successful outcomes for both the client and Colonial.

• Coordinate all project-related activities, including understanding and adhering to timelines.

• Review and analyze switchgear specifications and plans.

• Request pricing and lead times from manufacturers and sales representatives.

• Create detailed and timely switchgear proposals.

• Accurately estimate project costs.

• Enhance sales and profitability by understanding the marketplace and securing the most competitive selling prices.

• Engage with customers to follow up on quotes.

• Provide value-added services through the evaluation of existing blueprints.

• Review submittal approvals and adjust quotes as necessary.

• Assess switchgear modifications within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly.

• Continuously seek ways to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships.

• Collaborate with the Sales team and management regarding customer status, history, changes, potential opportunities, quotations, strategies, and other relevant sales information.

• Input data and maintain communication with customers and vendors.

• Work closely with the Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stay informed about new product information and emerging technologies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.

• Availability to work overtime when required.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
