This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Actively engage with the supply chain while autonomously managing EPC and equipment supply contracts.
• Develop, negotiate, and finalize contracts for gas generation equipment related to energy projects and data centers, ensuring they meet industry standards, timelines, and financial targets.
• Oversee and direct the request for proposal (RFP) processes for equipment supply.
• Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and key vendors to guarantee successful project outcomes.
• Handle contract modifications and post-contract responsibilities, which include claims management, performance tracking, and warranty considerations.
• Collaborate across various functions, including Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance, and Legal teams, to ensure smooth contract execution.
• Primarily concentrate on equipment supply agreements, while also participating in EPC contract execution.
• Over 5 years of experience in procuring gas generation equipment for large-scale utility energy projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling the development and maintenance of external relationships.
• Strong communication abilities, with a knack for articulating complex ideas in a clear and straightforward manner.
• Robust quantitative and analytical skills.
• An engineering background is preferred.
• Proficiency with G-Suite, Excel, Slack, and other collaborative tools.
