Game Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create captivating and challenging core gameplay loops, player experiences, and monetization strategies.

• Collaborate with external studios in Turkey throughout the new game development process, from initial concepts to playable builds.

• Develop new mechanics that add depth and progression while integrating smoothly into the game’s design framework.

• Analyze player data, recognize trends, and enhance level funnels for better retention and monetization.

• Work cross-functionally with developers to ensure alignment with overarching product objectives.

• Keep track of top-performing games to grasp market trends and derive valuable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a game designer or in a related field.

• Demonstrated professional experience in game design, with the ability to contribute across mechanics, systems, progression, and player experience.

• Proficient in utilizing data and player insights to identify design challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Strong creative and problem-solving abilities, complemented by effective collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders to align design with the product vision.

• Advanced analytical skills with the capability to identify patterns and trends.

• Experience in level balancing and funnel optimization.

• Fluency in Turkish and the ability to communicate effectively with Turkish-speaking studio teams.

• Experience in game design as a publisher in puzzle genres is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with liveops, A/B testing, or data-driven iteration cycles.

• Knowledge of Figma or similar visual collaboration tools for mock-ups.

• Proficient in using AI tools for generating initial prototypes.

• Proven track record of publishing or contributing to successful hypercasual, casual, or AAA titles.
