This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with the Funding Manager, Funding Supervisor, Branch Manager, Rehabilitation Technology Supplier, and office support staff to execute operational procedures.
β’ Oversee the entire funding transaction process, which includes coding and pricing, documentation collection, submission of funding packages, and obtaining payer decisions.
β’ Manage the transaction cycle duration from Ready to Process until Final Funding Approval.
β’ Acquire missing demographics and confirm that client information and minimum documentation requirements are accurate.
β’ Validate client benefits and coverage, and relay benefit information to clients.
β’ Collect and review prescriptions, Letters of Medical Necessity, RTS evaluation details, price lists, and necessary forms.
β’ Interact with physicians, therapists, RTSs, clients, branch staff, and referral sources to gather documentation and address escalations.
β’ Research and update payer requirements in the UPD.
β’ Maintain communication with clients and inform them of their financial responsibilities.
β’ Follow up with payer sources to secure timely authorization through the Funding Work Queue.
β’ Request and obtain approval for work order credit exceptions.
β’ Conduct pre-purchase quality assurance checks and pre-delivery verification.
β’ Collaborate with other funding areas and complete tasks in the Action Required queue.
β’ Fulfill assigned responsibilities and continuing education obligations.
β’ Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding is preferred.
β’ High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
β’ Must ensure regular and predictable attendance.
β’ Ability to function in a professional office environment.
β’ Capability to communicate effectively, sit, use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment, and frequently reach with hands and arms.
β’ Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
