This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with the Funding Manager, Funding Supervisor, Branch Manager, Rehabilitation Technology Supplier, and office support staff to execute operational procedures in line with company policies and timelines.
β’ Oversee the entire funding transaction cycle, which includes coding and pricing, collecting documentation, submitting funding packages, and obtaining payer decisions.
β’ Manage the transaction cycle duration from Ready to Process until Final Funding Approval.
β’ Acquire any missing demographic information and ensure that client data and minimum documentation standards are correct in the work order.
β’ Confirm client benefits and coverage, communicating this information effectively to clients.
β’ Compile and review prescriptions, Letters of Medical Necessity, RTS evaluation data, price lists, and necessary forms.
β’ Engage with physicians, therapists, RTSs, clients, branch staff, and referral sources to gather essential documentation and information.
β’ Research and update payer requirements in the UPD.
β’ Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the process, including informing them of their financial responsibilities.
β’ Follow up with payer sources to secure timely authorization through the Funding Work Queue.
β’ Request and secure approval for work order credit exceptions.
β’ Perform pre-purchase quality assurance checks before equipment acquisition.
β’ Conduct pre-delivery verification prior to equipment shipment.
β’ Coordinate with other funding areas and complete tasks in the Action Required queue.
β’ Execute related responsibilities assigned by the Funding Manager or Funding Supervisor with minimal oversight.
β’ Fulfill continuing education obligations.
β’ Maintain consistent and predictable attendance.
β’ A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding is preferred.
β’ High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
β’ Must maintain consistent and predictable attendance.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively and hear regularly.
β’ Ability to sit and use hands repetitively for standard office equipment operation.
β’ Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms.
