Funding & Research Partnerships Manager, Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive development and submission of grant proposals, primarily focusing on NIH R01 grants.

• Independently craft grant content, encompassing specific aims, study design, methodology, and work plans.

• Collaborate directly with internal scientists and US-based academic and clinical partners to define and align the scientific scope.

• Evaluate funding opportunities and lead early-stage grant development, including concept definition, feasibility, and timelines.

• Manage grant timelines, inputs, and submission processes with a high degree of autonomy.

• Ensure complete compliance with call requirements, formats, and review criteria.

• Coordinate responses to reviewer feedback and manage resubmissions when necessary.

• Maintain clear, structured communication across all project stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in medical physics, biomedical imaging, or a closely related discipline.

• Practical research experience with hyperpolarized MRI (HP MRI) is regarded as a significant advantage.

• Strong knowledge of medical imaging and its translational applications.

• Demonstrated experience in contributing to or leading NIH R01 grant applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of the US research funding landscape, particularly NIH processes.

• Proven capacity to work independently while closely collaborating with external partners, including advising and assisting customers in enhancing research proposals and grant submissions.

• Strong project management skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
