This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Aids in retention and degree completion by helping learners investigate alternative funding options.
• Guides learners on eligibility criteria and application processes for all available federal and state scholarships, along with institutional financial assistance programs.
• Works collaboratively across departments to facilitate additional funding to cover any remaining balance for learners.
• Offers financial information concerning scholarships and private lending alternatives.
• Provides continuous updates on the status of gap balance funding and/or disbursement information.
• Evaluates learners’ documents and applications for accuracy and completeness to proceed with funding processing.
• Conducts regular and thorough audits of the portfolio to ensure funding aligns with general ledger entries.
• Engages in the successful execution of various functional projects as they emerge.
• Some college experience or two years of equivalent work experience is necessary.
• An associate degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory.
• Proven experience in technology adoption and database navigation is essential.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including ratios and percentages, is required.
