Funding & Finance Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of controlling responsibilities across ongoing projects

• Execute monthly and quarterly controlling activities: gather data, conduct plausibility checks, and update reports

• Develop and enhance financial templates and reporting structures

• Track actual performance against budget for various projects

• Oversee the financial transition process from planning to the start of active projects

• Prepare and manage all documentation related to controlling for both public and private funding across projects

• Carry out continuous project controlling for active development titles

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting

• Strong grasp of financial principles, including budgeting, cost accounting, and cash flow management

• Capable of working independently, juggling multiple projects at once, and prioritizing tasks without close oversight

• Proficient in Excel skills (without reliance on AI)

• Skilled in creating clear calculation frameworks from the ground up

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experienced in effectively communicating financial outcomes and risks to non-financial stakeholders and management
