Fund Operations Associate, Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily valuations and reconcile portfolios with custodial and market data.

• Oversee custody, cash, and participant transactions within fund accounting systems.

• Ensure accurate NAV and participant records in pooled trust structures.

• Address reconciliation issues and assist with monthly/quarterly reporting and audits.

• Collaborate with various teams to facilitate investment and trust accounting workflows.

• Initiate process enhancements and support system migrations and fund launches.

• Undertake ad-hoc projects and provide cross-team support as necessary, including custody operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent college graduate with 1–2 years of experience in fund accounting, investment operations, or financial services.

• Strong understanding of daily valuation processes, cash management, and transaction processing across various asset classes.

• Detail-oriented and systematic, with a proven ability to maintain precise records and reconcile intricate financial data.

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable using accounting platforms, custodial systems, and financial reporting tools.

• Familiarity with pooled trusts, unitized fund structures, or collective investment vehicles, or a keen interest in learning about them.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think critically and escalate issues as needed.

• Excels in a process-driven, deadline-oriented environment and actively seeks opportunities to enhance workflows and boost operational efficiency.

• Excellent communicator and team player, capable of collaborating effectively across internal departments and with external partners.
