Fund Migrations Operations Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete process of fund migrations and the transition of non-registered funds from existing administrators to the AngelList platform.

• Act as a vital team member for several simultaneous migration projects, adhering to project timelines, monitoring milestones, and ensuring successful, timely implementation.

• Examine and confirm the accuracy of migrated data, which includes investor capital accounts, general ledger balances, investment portfolios, commitments, capital activities, waterfall calculations, and historical financial records.

• Ensure outstanding client results by completing migrations on time, maintaining a high level of accuracy, fostering strong communication, and minimizing operational disruptions, while cultivating long-term trusted relationships with investment manager clients.

• Evaluate current processes and consider whether AI and automation could enhance them.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with financial data.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable learning and working with accounting software and financial systems.

• Reliable internet connection and capability to work remotely during required business hours.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups).

• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or fund administration platforms (a plus, not required).

• Background in fund accounting, investment accounting, or financial services (a plus, not required).

• Knowledge of partnership accounting or investment fund structures (a plus, not required).

• A tendency to question existing processes and leverage AI and automation to develop improved solutions.
