Fund Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Perform daily fund accounting activities within Flowdash workflow queues as per established protocols.

• Promptly investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies.

• Assess portfolio company events and data, assisting the team in deciding the appropriate valuation action for each investment.

• Aid in gathering supporting documents for external auditors to ensure the timely completion of fund audits.

• Prepare quarterly financial statements and capital account reports.

• Maintain and update fund accounting information across systems, including data cleanup initiatives.

• Monitor task completion against service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues as necessary.

• Contribute to process enhancements, automation projects, and documentation as FAST grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with financial data.

• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable learning and utilizing accounting software and financial systems.

• Reliable internet connection and capability to work remotely during required business hours.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups).

• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or fund administration platforms (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Background in fund accounting, investment accounting, or financial services (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with partnership accounting or investment fund structures (preferred, but not mandatory).
