Fund Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ensure accuracy while delivering essential reports, including monthly and annual financial statements, tax compliance duties, and treasury management related to our investment funds across various asset classes and regions.

• Collaborate closely with our service providers to guarantee adherence to policies and internal control standards.

• Create and oversee daily and monthly reconciliations between internal records, prime brokers, counterparties, banks, and the fund administrator.

• Manage the internal accounting system, generate daily and monthly trading profit and loss reports as well as AUM reports, and verify settlement activities across trading strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in hedge funds, public accounting for asset management, or as a fund administrator.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and its relevance to investment management funds.

• Proficient in using enterprise-level accounting software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in automating manual tasks is preferred.

• Familiarity with or interest in gaining experience with Python or SQL is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
